Is it noticeable?

I just finished this cardigan and noticed that the yarn has changed colour on one side in certain places. I don’t really want to start again! Is it really noticeable?

The sweater is lovely, very nicely knit.
Yes, the color change is noticeable in the photos but it’s so localized that it looks like planned pooling. I would however complain to the store that sold the yarn and the yarn company that made it. Yarn should tell you that it’s going to change color or is a tonal. It shouldn’t come as a surprise.
What is the name of the yarn?

So nicely knit, what frustration to discover a yarn colour change!
This has happened to me twice in a year, having yarn dye problems, it is soooo frustrating.
Whilst it doesn’t fix the sweater you put so much time and care into I would definitely send in a photo and complaint the the yarn shop. At a minimum they should offer a refund or replacement and alert the manufacturer of the problem.

Thank you! The yarn is Marriner yarns double knit. It’s slightly annoying as I always use this yarn and never had a problem so I think I will be contacting them

Thank you! It’s very annoying that it’s only one one side at least if it was on the other side as well it would match. I shall be in contact with them

Unfortuunately, it is very noticeable. Ruins the sweater IMHO

Yep, confirm very noticeable, looks stained. I feel for your hard work

My heart goes out to you. All that work and through no fault of your own this is the result. Is it possible to dye it. I have never done that and wouldn’t know how but it might be a thought

I decided to put hearts on the cardigan so will be placing hearts where the stains are. Hopefully will look much better!

That’s so clever and imaginative! It’s really made the cardigan and is enough to distract the eye.
Very nicely done.

Gosh, I’m surprised to hear that, I’ve used it myself many times and never had a problem. That’s very annoying, I’d contact them myself if it happened to me.
