Intro...Hi!

I joined today and just wanted to say hello…

I was taught to knit when I was 9 (English method), but I was taught to knit left-handed…and I’m right-handed.

Sooooo, as I haven’t knitted SINCE I was 11 or 12, I’m having to learn all over again, because I simply CANNOT get my 47-year old hands to remember how to knit like I was taught…

:wall:

I just picked it up again a few days ago and learned there’s ANOTHER way to knit…Continental method. Needless to say, my hands are not cooperating! I can KNIT continental just fine, but PURL is another story. So I knit Continental and purl English.

I anticipate problems…

Oh yes.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and am looking forward to getting to know you guys.

Sherry

Hi there! Nice to meetcha! I knit continential and purling was a little wonky for me at first but I was just thinking earlier today how I can almost purl quicker than I can knit now!

Give it time, it’ll come!
