I just lurve this top! It’s in the new edition of IK mag.
Interweave Knits Mag
that’s beautiful…what kind of yarn is that?
I really like it too!!!
How spicy is that pattern? I’m looking for a pattern for a knit top for summer for myself…
of course it should be noted that the girl wearing the shirt has no boobies!
Julie wants to make that top, too…do I smell another KAL??
I need to go find the magazine first. And finish the baby blanket I’m working on. (Otherwise it will never get done). So, maybe in the middle of march, I’m up for a KAL.
WOW, I love that! Looks like I am going to have to get yet another magazine!! (Husband is always complaing about the number of magazine subscriptions that I have. )
Was that the pattern that had the absurdly expensive yarn though? Colinette something-or-other?
of course it should be noted that the girl wearing the shirt has no boobies!
Haha! She does not have any hips either lol
Honestly, this top is beautiful. I only wish my bod were up to it!
I posted about this in the patterns forum! I’m in loooove…too bad the yarn is freaking $26 a skein!!!   (or a mere $19 a skein at woolneedlework, the cheapest I found…it’s Colinette Giotto)
I’ve been hunting for a suitable alternative…but it sure is hard to find multicolored variegated ribbon yarn that knits to gauge on US11 needles.
I looooove it though…
ooo that is pretty!! I have no boobies, so I’d love to make it!
:rofling:
No boobies here either! It is a gorgeous top!
I like it too, I just got that magazine yesterday and it’s the one I like the most. It would look good in a plain color too though, maybe KP has something that would work??
I just loooove the colors in that yarn. :crying:
I do have one lead – this yarn would knit to gauge when doubled. I got a ball in the bargain bin at the LYS and I’m going to swatch it and see how it feels. It comes in lots of yummy colors, and I was thinking about maybe doubling one of the multicolors with a coordinating solid color. Substituting a non-ribbon yarn has got to be tricky, though, because I’d still want it to be lightweight…and not many yarns that knit 3 sts/inch on 11s are very lightweight. :??
Oooh, that sweater is gorgeous!
I so went to my lys and bought the magazine just for that pattern. I’m in on the kal, as soon as I figure out the cast on…
I got 10 skeins of Classic EliteFilati D’Italia Isabella for $26 from a WEBS closeout sale a while back (they may still have some). Recommended needle size is 10 and it is a yummy soft verigated cotton. I am SOOOoooo ready for a KAL.
