Instruction video for correcting mistakes
Did u see the video’s on this site at http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/knitting-tips
You can un-knit which is great if you need to do just one row. I don’t know if they show that on this site’s videos. I also learned by DVD’s. The best DVd for fixing mistakes is “The Complete Beginner’s Guide to Knitting (2004)”. You can get it on amazon. I would check out these video’s first.

To fix a whole row you did wrong, it’s easier to undo your knitting stitch by stitch, which is shown on the Tips page. You would put your left needle into the st below the one on the right needle, and slide the right needle out of the stitch and pull the yarn free. Basically, just the opposite of how you knit it and it’s a lot easier to do than explain.
Their not videos or DVDs; however, have you tried any of these books:
The Knitting Answer Book by Margaret Radcliffe
When Bad Things Happen to Good Knitters: An Emergency Survival Guide [Illustrated] by Marion Edmonds
Knit Fix: Problem Solving for Knitters by Lisa Kartus
Your local library may have them or be able to place a search and or hold on them for you.
