Ingrids baby sweater question

Pattern says CO 4sts (keep on body needle)

How do I cast on for this and what does it mean to keep on body needle?

It just means that the four stitches you cast on should stay on your working needle rather than be part of the sleeve.

you didn’t tell me how to cast on in middle of row

I missed that part. Sorry!

I just used backward loop.

I’m doing this cute sweater on circular needles and couldn’t for the life of me figure out how it was gonna work till I realized it was top down :wall: I’m doing this in a cotton baby yarn (varigated) and its turning out pretty cute.Could I use this same pattern and change the stitch to make it look different.Or would that not work.I like knitting in one piece like this

The design of this sweater is a classic top down raglan–very adaptable to change.

Thanks again Ingrid :happydance: :happydance:
