Please help.

I’d like to knit the Fisherman Shrug found in Knit It (Spring/Summer 2006), but I’m already stuck.

Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Purl

Now here is where I’m stuck - It says to Cont in St st and Inc 1 st at each edge every 6th row three times.

Could someone please explain this to me in laymens terms. I can’t figure it out for the life of me.

Continue knitting one row and purling one row–thats the st st.

Then you are to increase in the first and last stitch on three of the rows. Kfb is probably the easiest for this.

They’re not really specific about when to start the increases, I’d probably do them on rows 7, 13, and 19, since I like to increase on the right-side rows.
