Increasing to 3

I am putting this flared edge on a scarf I am making. When I get to the end…how should I increase the stitches so that I can get the same effect? I know I would have to increase from 1 stitch to 3. I know how to increase to make 2, but how would I do 3?

Knit into the front of the stitch, then the back, then the front again before sliding it off.

Thanks Ingrid…I tried it…will be a little tricky with this fuzzy mohair yarn…I think I should LOOSEN up…seems so tight on the needle.
