Increasing on the Sleeves of a Woman's Sweater
When I increase on sleeves, I usually just knit in the front and back of the stitch or do a M1 increase one stitch in from the edge. It gets seamed, so you really don’t see the increases.
If you’re working in the round, I find that the m1 increase is the least visible, and has the smoothest transition to the other stitches IMO. If you’re doing it flat, like Ingrid says, it gets hidden in the seaming regardless of which method you use.
