OK, I’m really confused. I’m knitting a lovely tank topthat has a pretty, simple lace pattern at the bottom (alternating YO K2Tog and K2Tog YO, with purl on odd rows) and K2 P2 ribbing at the top. In the lace pattern, I have 64 stitches on the needles and need to increase 18 stitches evenly across. I figured out how much to increase and where, BUT I’m not sure how to go about this. Do I increase in the lace pattern before starting the K2P2 ribbing? Do I start the increases when I start the ribbing? :??
I’m off today and not feeling well, so I really don’t want to head to my LYS. Any help would be appreciated. I feel so stupid.
