Increases for Entrelac Blanket

Hi all,

I’m making an Entrelac Blanket (http://www.iknit.biz/product_info.php?products_id=454) from Snuggly Kisses DK 1903. The instructions read as follows:
1st Row: Knit.
2nd Row: P2, turn; k2, turn; (etc.)
3rd Row: (This is where I have the question) K2, turn; p2, turn; inc in 1st st, sl1, k1, psso, turn

With respect to increasing in the first stitch, I was wondering if there’s a preferred method? I know there are some different methods for increasing, so I just want to make sure I select the one that will look best for this pattern. Thanks!

When a pattern says to increase [I]in[/I] a st, it would be a kfb because you knit into the st twice. That’s the usualy with entrelac patterns, though some do a m1 after the first stitch.
