I’ve started an afghan and can’t figure out this row:
K2, k2tog, k2, inc 1 in next 2 sts, k3, k2tog; rept from to last 2 sts, k2
I understand everything but “inc 1 in next 2 sts” - from * to * should end up 11 stitches. I can’t figure it out

You increase 1 stitch in each of the next 2 stitches. You can increase several different ways. Does the pattern tell you what type of increase to use?
When a pattern says to inc in a stitch you would use a kfb. So you do the row like this -
K2, k2tog, k2, kfb, kfb, k3, k2tog; rept from to last 2 sts, k2
