I wonder if anybody has any advice for when a pattern has a 2-way colour change on the same row as an increase row (M1L&R) for keeping the new yarn and old yarn neat and orderly during the change and increase?
Thanks

What is the name of your pattern and designer?
I find it easiest to always bring yarn A in over yarn B. Bring yarn B in under yarn A. That way the yarns won’t twist and tangle. Designate yarns A and B however you would like and this works nicely for fair isle.
If you’re working stranded colorwork, the yarns will twist if you need to carry floats but for fair isle that shouldn’t be a problem.
Sorry I didn’t clarify… This is for at the needle change on DPNs too…
Sometimes it’s easiest to move the color change and increase away from the dpn change. You can slip the sts involved so that they are all on a single dpn then once you’ve worked them, slip them back to near the original position.
