Increase 11 at once?

I am knitting a horse for my dd, and have run into a problem. The pattern calls for “increase 11 all at once”. I cannot figure out how to do this. I’m using the pattern in the book “Toymaking for Children”… has anyone used this? Is there a way to increase multiple stitches all at once? I tried kfb, but that adds a stitch to every other stitchl, and doesn’t put them all in one place. Any ideas??

That IS odd. Can it be you need to increase in the next 11 stitches rather than evenly across the row? I don’t see how you could possibly increase 11 stitches in one spot.
