i am knitting a blanket and the next row starts out with Inc 1 in first st, p8 … I am not sure how to inc 1 in first st
Increase 1 in first st, p8
You knit in the front and back of the stitch. In other words, knit the stitch like regular, but before you take if off the needles put the needle in the back of the stitch and knit it again so you will have two stitches for that one stitch. If you go to the top of the website to the tab that says free videos and click on the increase link then scroll down to KFB and watch the video, it will show you how to do it if my instructions are as clear as mud
