I am knitting a womans beanie and on the rs the instructions say inc2 in same stitch then p3tog does that mean the inc2 will result in three stitches from one or two stitches from one confused here. Need confirmation and a how-to to do this. Thanking you in advance.:knitting: :knitting: Stew
Welcome to KH!
Your pattern may tell you how to do the inc2 in the next stitch. Check at the beginning of the pattern and also at the end. If it doesen’t specify you could do a k1, yo, k1. That’ll increase 2 sts and the p3tog (presumably in the next stitch or at least somewhere else in the row) will decrease 2 sts so that your stitch count will remain the same.
