In need of a "trendy skull cap"

Hi everyone…anyone out “there” have a pat for a “skull” cap? Need something "trendy (for a girl in her early 20’s) I say “skull” (that’s what we used to call them back in the day)!! Something short in length and tight fitting to the head:wall: I have been "searching for over an hour now…and my eyes are:zombie: thanks for any help

This one is very similar in gauge, size, and number of cast-on stitches to the custom-sized snug beanie I just knit for my 25-yr-old son. He’s thrilled with it. I’m pretty sure that skull and beanie caps are the same thing.

I don’t know if it’s too late, but Yarn Harlot’s An Unoriginal Hat is pretty cool IMO.

This is a super easy pattern, comes with a fantastic gauge chart for different sizes/yarn weights, and is fun to jazz up with different stitches and bands. I made myself a skully with this pattern simply by knitting it a little snugger and shorter than a regular winter hat. I’m in my thirties, but have gotten compliments from twenty-somethings regarding its coolness :slight_smile: Definitely my default hat pattern:
