Imbedding Link to Thread in another thread?

Hi - I’m not sure which forum is best to post this in- so forgive me if another would have been better :shrug:

I have seen several posts that have a link that looks like [this] that when clicked on will bring the reader directly to another thread on a different forum here on KH. I have been wandering around the site for the last 20 minutes trying to figure out how to do this as I want to make a post and link it to pictures that are in another post - I am sure it is simple, and I am sure it is probably right in front of my nose, but I just can’t find it…can anyone more computer literate than I help me out? :??

To link to a post: right-click on the #1(whatever) in the upper right-hand corner of that post and copy the link location. Then paste it to the post you want it in.

To have the pictures from that post come up: right-click the image and copy the image location, start your new post and then click the “insert image” button and paste the url into into the pop-up window.
