I'm sure none of you will understand, but

…I’ve had NOTHING to knit the past few days and it’s been kinda nice! I got some cleaning done, did two loads of laundry and already put them away, already have dinner in the oven, went out to visit friends this morning, played with my kids…

Not that I don’t normally do all those things but it’s in a way nice to not have some knitting project drawing me to it.

Like I said, none of you will understand.

P.S. Once my yarn arrives for Picovoli, all this will change!!!

:roflhard: I’m glad there’s a cure on it’s way!!

it’s like we don’t even know who you are anymore

 :frowning: Say it aint so!

:roflhard:

Huh??? :?? :oo:

:roflhard:

I…I think she was speaking chinese there because I didnt understand a word she just said. :??

So Ladies!! Do you think an intervention is in order? We can go over with our softest yarn and finest needles and tempt her back into the fold!

You are welcome to intervene, as long as you promise to leave that soft yarn and those fine needles here when you leave! :roflhard:

I need an intervention. I don’t have ANY fine, soft yarn. sniff Nothing good to knit. snifff Please help me…

It’s TRUE! I’m in knitting limbo (read: hell) waiting for the size 4 addi’s from Mr. NotSoWonderland. I have knit THREE swatches for Picovoli for no good reason, other than to have an excuse to use the KP Shine. I am all out of reasons to swatch now. :verysad:

Oh Denise, my fellow waiting-for-supplies-to-start-Picovoli girl!! :frowning: I feel for ya, really I do! I am on day 12 of waiting for my KnitPicks yarn.

THE HORROR!

Ingrid, how did you manage to take that picture of me?! Have you been peeking in my windows again?

knitqueen, and I feel YOUR pain. We should start a support group…

:hiding:

It’s an epidemic of epic purportions! Two people not knitting is two too many! We must act fast!

I hate to admit it but I also didn’t knit for a couple of weeks!!! And I didn’t miss it. But before your jaws drop, I have to admit that I had pneumonia and now that I’m almost well, I’m back to it.

Seriously tho, I do want to manage my knitting time better! When I start knitting a project, I knit when I should/could be doing those mundane tasks that are no fun. Do any of you have to limit your knitting time? Do I need to join a knitting addicts club? Oh yeah, I did, this one!!!

I TOTALLY understand! I’ve gone days without knitting, and it’s nice, but I do have other hobbies to keep me busy as well. I still visit the site everyday though

I have had stretches of weeks or months where I haven’t done anything crafty… it’s a mindset/stress thing… what I can’t understand is not having anything in the house to work on. :?? I have SABLE in at least 3 different crafts {cross-stitch, crochet, and knit}… so having to wait for something before I can do anything is beyond me! :roflhard: :roflhard:

Thanks for your offers of intervention, but the cure for my knitting slump arrived today so off I go to knit knit knit :XX: :happydance:
