I'm stuck! Please help me

Hi there knitters.

I am knitting my first sweater with a pattern ever, and I’m stuck.

I am knitting A pattern from knitrowan a sweaer called polar

I’m knitting size xxl. I’ve left out the place motif and is now at the shaping of the armholes.

It says:

Cast off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows. 91 [101: 113: 125: 139] sts.
Dec 1 st at each end of next 1 [1:7:17:25] rows,then on 4 [1:0:0: 0] foll 4th rows,then on foll 17 [25:25:21:19] alt rows.
47 [47: 49: 49: 51] sts.
Work 1 row, ending with RS facing for next row.

I’ve done the first cats of’ and have now 139 sts.
I work on round needles and is confuses me. I do the decrease now with purling on only one side of the round needle? And just choose with side will be the back and the front?

This is my first post ever also.

By the way, english is my third language, it will help me alot if you can decribe your explanation in “pictures” if you know what I mean…

Thank you :knitting: :knitting: :knitting:

Maybe this sweater?

For the first set of decreases, decrease on both the right side (outer or public facing) and wrong side (inner or side facing the body)rows. Here’s a video (no sound) for decreases on both right side and wrong side.

The second set of decreases (alt rows) are on each end of the right side only.

Remember, too, that you’re decreasing at the beginning and at the end of the rows.
