Im I missing something here?

This pattern is a multiple of 2 http://www.knittingfool.com/pages/stCatalog2.guest.cfm?StitchID=703&name=Three-Dimensional%20Honeycomb&numofst=2&stplus=0&rows=4&rplus=2&sym=0. I CO 12, row 1 turns out perfectly fine but row 2 throws me off.

Row 2 says to p1* slip the yo wyif,p2 but the beginning of row 2 has 2 knit sts then a slip stitch. im confused!!

Row 1 ends with a yo, slip 1, k1. For row 2, p1, then reach around the next st and slip the yo. This isn’t so difficult because the yo is already crossing over that st. Then continue with the p2 and repeat. The row ends with slip the yo, p1.
