The DH came home last night and said, “If you could go anywhere for one week, where would you go?”. Ummmmmmmm, I couldn’t think of ANY place. Then I ask him where he would like to go and he said, “Somewhere cool.” Then he thought for a minute and said, “We haven’t been to Alaska.” My first thought was, “WOW, I could see lots of that musk ox yarn there I bet.”
Do the rest of you think in terms of knitting and yarn about everything too or am I just obsessed?

Yup. I’d rather stay home, close to my yarn sources, than risk being away from yarn. :crying: samm
I lived in Anchorage, :cheering: Alaska for 14 years and I got to see the Musk Ox at the zoo. There is a shop in down town Anchorage that sells what the native people knit up with the “fiber” from them. :XX: Very soft and wonderful. I have a scarf that we bought just before we moved from there. I knew I’d NEVER see it anyplace else. :happydance:
