I actually took this a couple of weeks ago, and the border wasn’t all the way done, but I just don’t have the strength to pull out the camera and take another picture right now. I’ve been knitting on this alllll afternoon and evening.

Congratulations! It’s beautiful!

Thanks, Jan! I feel like I’ve been set free!!

YAY for you Julie!!! :cheering:

and it looks beautiful!

WOW! Is that pretty.
The pattern in the colors looks like calming flowing water. IMO

When ya get the strength, I’d love to see an airial picture.
Standing on a chair should be high enough. :shifty:
But be really careful. :fingerwag:

WOO HOO!!! A billion stitches and months of work!! I can see why you feel set free.

It is a masterpiece!!!

:happydance: its beautiful great job!!!

Absolutely beautiful!!! Yey, you!!! :happydance:

Wow … thanks guys. It’s one of those things that has been driving me nuts, and so I’m having trouble seeing the beauty in it. Perhaps I’ll have DH take a picture of me wearing it later. I have to send it off to Mom in the next day or so.

Last night after I finished it, I was thinking that maybe I could start the sweater KAL now, but I think I’m going to stick w/ things that can be done in a day or two … but that Sitcom Chic sweater … I don’t know … I may have to start it.

Very, very pretty. You did an awesome job!

Congrats! And this was done with laceweight yarn, right? That’s amazing!

WOW- that is amazing!! It reminds me of a spin-art painting. Great job!

Such a nice job - it looks awesome!! :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

I also have to admit after seeing your previous posts and the picture of the shawl, I could not resist and ordered some yarn from knitpicks to do it myself! I hope you would help if I get stuck on the instructions…but I promise, I will give you some time to breathe before I ask anything, guessing you would not want to deal with it for some time!

I would love to see a picture of you wearing it, too! I hope your DH can help you for this…and your mom will be so happy!! :happydance:

Yay for you! It’s beautiful!!

Oh Julie   It is really pretty!!!

Ooh, your mom will be greatly blessed by it; it’s soooo pretty.

WOOO HOOOOOO!!!

Way to go! SO happy for you, and it’s beeeee-yootiful! :inlove:

:cheering: :cheering: :cheering:
Great job!! Love the colors!!

Thank you all SO MUCH!! Such nice comments!

I had DS take a pic of it for me today, and I have to admit, after having it on I’m really liking it a whole lot better. This yarn is really lightweight, but it’s SO warm!!! I think I’ve lost my mind!

So … here it is:
