Hi i have just started to knit and iam following a pattern for a teddy bear but im stuck.I have come to turning rows and it is as follows, 1ST turning row is.
K9, turn, yon, K9… i have done that but the next is baffling me…
2ND turning row is…
k across all stitches,working yon tbl with next st…
i get what i have to do but as i have to k all stitches which is the next st??? im confused.com.

I thought that turn row was i had to knit certain number of stitched then turn the needles round and knit back again, am i wrong?

You’re right about the turn. You switch the needles in your hands and work back over the sts you’ve just been knitting. For the 2nd row, you’ll knit across the sts [I]but[/I] when you come to the yarn over, knit it through the back loop together with the st that is right next to in on the left needle. It’s a k2tog tbl.
