If Amy...(OT?)

If Amy crocheted and made a crocheting website, I’d die of happiness.

Nudge, nudge. ELBOW. Wink, WINK!

In the mean time, any knitter-crocheter hybrids that want to share their fave sites?

you could go here:

I think Amy has some crochet stuff in the works…

:roflhard: :roflhard:

Amy has said that someday she plans on creating a crochet help site hence the reason she has the name. I think it’s on the back burner for now though…too much other stuff going on!

Try these:

lively forum: http://www.crochetville.org/

links to instructions http://crochetnmore.com/123basics.htm

vintage - click on the ‘booklist’ link http://www.antiquepatternlibrary.org/

large site for patterns, more vintage too http://home.inreach.com/marthac/links.html

vintage http://crochetblog.spicekat.com/

Yeah, I like bookmarks - wanna make something of it??? :rofling:

Methinks Carol like to crochet!!! Look at those links!

They never get tired with laughing at my expense. Oh well. Enjoy.

My gosh. You should see mine. I have folders, sub-folders and sub-sub folders.

Expanded, the list goes on and on. I have PROJECTS, which links into KNITTING, CROCHETING, and ARTS AND CRAFTS. I have EDUCATION, which links into REFERENCE-which links into DICTIONARIES and WORDLISTS, then I have subject folders…

And then, wait until I tell you about my MY PICTURES folder…

well actually I knew that Brenda would post that so I had to beat her to it.

I thought something was wrong with the link! :roflhard:

Really I just want to be a better crocheter. Plus when I find stuff I bookmark it - I hate it when I see something good and then when I want it I can’t find it.

And there’s always Wikipedia - search on crochet and check out external links - most are there. I’m falling in love with Wiki.

For the record, I’ve no plans currently to do anything with the crochethelp domain name. But I do plan to shoot a few videos on the basic crochet stitches to include in this site, since crochet borders are occasionally called for in knitted patterns.

aaah that would be wonderful…I get sooo irritated when i see that kind of instruction, or any crochet instruction in my knitting patterns! I don’t know ANYTHING about crochet beyond what the hooks look like and how to use them for dropped stitches. A video on that would surely help me avoid finishing less!

Amy, that’s a questionable Buddha…

Here are some crochet videos I found online:
