this is my Icelandic cardigin that i started about two weeks ago.
It’s knitting up really really fast!!
the whole thing is made in the round, first the lower white part of the body then the sleeves, then the sleeves get joined onto the body which is then called the yoke. then finish the upper part of the cardigin where the pattern intarsia(spelt wrong) is.
hope to have it finished in a week!!
i wonder would there be any kind of market for this kind of cardigin…

I love that sweater! The length is really great, Im always trying to yank my sweaters down because my lower back gets cold in class. I am so impressed with how quickly you are knitting it. I have not tried anything even close to a cardigan or sweater yet. Great job=)

A beautiful sweater! Wouldn’t that be called stranded work rather than intarsia though? You spelled it correctly, I think, anyhow that is how I spell it too.
