I want to knit a rug
I have the Paton’s Book Felted Knitting, and it has a great looking felted rug in it ( I know you didn’t say felted rug, but I noticed your name!!) It calls for wool, obviously, so you could probably use WOTA on that one.

It’s Paton’s Knit and Crochet Felting
You can see the rug on the front cover. I used Paton’s 100% Classic Merino wool, which was about $5.99 a skein (I made the felted purse) and I got it from Joanns. It actually took a little while to felt, so I was going to try the rug one day, but with WOTA. I don’t really see the need for Merino wool if you are going to felt it anyways.
