The 3G is powered thru AT&T, and is really free! I’ve found it very convenient on numerous occasions! I turn the wireless 3G connectivity to OFF when I’m in the mountains and “electricity” is not available. As your tutorial will tell you, turning the wireless OFF saves on battery. Important when you can’t “plug in and recharge” often. I bought a car charger thru Amazon, too, for our “off the grid” mountain trips.

So my Kindle is at my local post office and it doesn’t say out for delivery yet! Ahhh! It better be out for delivery! I don’t want to have to wait till after the holiday! I need my technology fix!!! :lol:
It’s here now and charging. Gonna take a little time to learn it all, but the basic reading part is easy peasy.
