I too need pattern help

I’m making a wool diaper soaker/cover for my son and this is the first thing that is not a rectange that I’m attempting to knit.
So the pattern reads this:
TO SHAPE BACK: 1ST ROW: Knit to last 7 sts. Turn.
2ND ROW: Slip 1st st. Purl to last 7 sts. Turn.
3RD ROW: Slip 1st st. Knit to last 14 sts. Turn.
4TH ROW: Slip 1st st. Purl to last 14 sts. Turn.
5TH ROW: Slip 1st st. Knit to last 21 sts. Turn.
6TH ROW: Slip 1st st. Purl to last 21 sts. Turn.
7TH ROW: Slip 1st st. Knit to end of row.
8TH ROW: Purl.

My question is about the turns. How do I do this or what does turn mean in a knitting pattern?
Thank you so much

Just like you turn your work around when you get to the end of a row, you turn the work leaving the unworked stitches there. Just turn and knit the next row.

That’s right. To turn, you take the needle in your right hand and put it in your left hand. Take the needle in your left hand and put it in your right hand.

Now knit/purl [whatever] as usual, working the appropriate number of stitches from your left-hand needle onto the right-hand needle.
