I think I have an addiction

I recently took up knitting again after years off. I’ve been finding wonderful projects on line and buying the patterns/yarn. I now have about a dozen projects lined up and no time since it’s Christmas. But I think the buying of beautiful yarn has become an addiction!

Only a dozen? You’re just a baby…haha!

It will become much worse in time. You’ll buy yarn like nothing else

Glad you found the way back to knitting

And sadly, or not so sadly, there are no 12 step programs for us.

I don’t need one. I can quit any time I want. I just don’t want to. :teehee:

Here’s a sneaky plan…from one yarn addict to another -
what about wrapping up a few projects, adding some knitting needles, the address for knittinghelp.com and giving the unmade item as a gift? You may end up being responsible for introducing another woman, man, girl, or boy to this fun past-time.

It’s not an addiction, it’s a way of life

LOL - yup, addicition - way of life - whatever it is, we like it that way! And “only a dozen?” You’ll be amazed at how fast your stash of patterns and yarn will grow. Welcome back!

I like my addiction!!! It is better then drinking, drugs and smoking. My hands and brain are to busy to do them. I HAVE NEVER BEEN INCLINED TO DO THEM AS KNITTING AND CROCHET ARE BETTER!!! I think if I ever tried and I won’t that I would poked my eye out with a knitting needle, lol!

I say get a cup of tea, sit down and knit and ponder the wonderful yarn you’ve been buying and all of the projects you’re going to do. I’m down to my last 4 projects before I go on a yarn buying spree.

After the New Year I’ve got scads of friends having babies. Got to gettin’ knittin’!
