I taught someone to knit yesterday. I’ve been knitting for a year and a half and am totally addicted. A few months ago I taught a knitting class to about 7 friends. Most of them got it, but none really stuck with it (their loss!). So that was kind of dissapointing. But last week a lady I knew from church heard me talking about my knitting. She was so excited. She asked if I could teach her to knit. She had been wanting to learn, but didn’t want to learn from a book. So she came over yesterday and I taught her to cast on, knit, purl, ribbing, and bind off. She caught on really easily, and was so excited to go home and practice. I’ll see her again tomorrow. I’m anxious to see how she’s doing.
