Can anyone suggest a nice soft cotton yarn that’s suitable for baby washcloths? I have some Patons Bumblebee, but not enough in neutral colours and since I’m knitting for someone who doesn’t know what the baby is, I need some more neutrals.
Thanks!!!
IMO the dishcloth yarn isn’t soft enough so…
Bernat Cottontots
Patons Grace
Shine sport and Shine worsted from Knitpicks
Lion Brand Microspun This is a microfiber blend, but it’s extremely soft.
Thanks Jan!
Lot of pretty colour choices in all of them, now comes the hard part of choosing which brand. :teehee:
I totally second Shine Sport. It is wonderfully soft the colours are great.
I think that’s the one I’m leaning towards!
There is an Australian Brand called “Heritage” and they do a fingering and DK weight cotton which is just LOVERLY knit up, quite cheap too (only about AUS$4 a ball)… I’m pretty sure there are US places that sell it too
I love Blue Sky Organic Cotton. Its the softest cotton I’ve ever felt. Runs about $8.50 US. The website discription is below.
