Finding yarn for this pattern.
My brother would like me to make him one and I’m having a heck of a time finding yarn in the right or close to right colors for it. I’d also like it to be machine washable since I don’t think he’d care too much for hand washing! :lol:

You might want to check Yarndex and do a search on DK weight yarn. They provide color cards for most and details about if the yarn can be washed or not.
Plymouth Encore Dk (here on yarnkex) might be a good option. It is very soft and washable and has lots of colors.

Encore dk is a very nice yarn. I’ve made lots of things with it and it is nice to work with and very easy care. Lots of colors, too.
