I need help understanding a pattern

I am starting a sweater. In the pattern I am working with striaght needles, and I have cast on my 75 stitches. Nowever, I do not understand two rows in my pattern. Can someone please tell me what it means, step by step?

Row 1(RS): K1, *[k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1] in next st, p5; rep from * to last 2 sts, end k2

Row 9: K2, *p5, [k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1] in next st; rep from * to last st, end k1

**Note: I understand what K, P, yo, sts, and etc is, I just don’t understand how to repeat…for example, in Row one I don’t understand if I do the stuff in the brackets first, then p5, then repeat brackets till the last stitch…or…?

This is the repeat in red-
*[COLOR=Red][k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1] in next st, p5[/COLOR]; rep from *

So you do that till you get to the last two stitches and then you knit 2. :thumbsup:

So you repeat p5 as well? Does the same go for row 9 as well?

Yes, in R 9 you do the p5 first, then k o k o k into the next stitch.
