okay so I have started and started this Lace Nightie 4 times now, but keep messing up so I have to frog it, at least I was in the beginning!! I apparently cannot put the link, [I]however[/I] if you go to Ravelry and search “lace nightie” it is by Carrie Bostock Hoge… I think there may be a patt error [B]OR[/B] I am screwing it up…

Well maybe it’s just me being sauced while weilding knitting needles and can’t count while knitting to save my life [I]OR[/I] there’s a prob with the patt. I CO 264 sts, k the 1st round, do 99% of the 2nd round then find out I am missing 1 st. I tried putting PMs every 12th st and still messed up! I don’t dare ask DH because he’ll probably fix it with his duck tape. Any suggestions as to keeping the count right with the patt?

Rnd 1: *Yo, ssk (see page 2), k7, k2tog, yo, k1; rep from * to end
Is that the round you’re having problems with? If you’re coming up a stitch short, maybe you miscounted for the cast on? Did you count the stitches in the knit round? If you have markers every 12 sts then you should be able to determine if your count is off in any one repeat.
I actually did miscount, having 2 children under 4 driving you up a wall(thank goodness for coffee) doesn’t help keep count… Anyway, they’re in bed & I casted on again and did it right this time.
