Hi, I started with 150sts, then I did what’s in the photo but I’ve ended up with 260sts, where did I go wrong, it should have been 250sts,
I think you probably repeated rows 3 & 4 an extra time. When it says “10 times total”, that means including the first time, before it tells you to repeat them. It would be clearer if they said to repeat those rows 9 MORE times.
I agree with ColoCro.
Before you tink back those extra two rows though, I would just look ahead on the pattern and see what comes next. The first two sizes have a squared off box of instruction, so that’s not for you, but it’s another repeat of the increase rows. See if there’s one ahead for your size just to check. It would be a shame to tink the rows and then be told the next part is to work the same thing you just tinked.
Thank you both for replying and oh my God I dont have to rip back as my size asks for further inc. Thanks for the great advice.
Wow, now isn’t that a relief!
I find it a bit odd that the number of repeats is given, and then they add another in the later instruction when it would make sense to put them all in one place. Odd, but the designer must have their own reasoning for it.
Great to hear you don’t need to tink. Enjoy your knitting.
