My local Hobby Lobby is carrying this yarn. I can’t find any thing about it/who makes it. Has anyone tried it? do you like it? For $4/skein am I getting exactly what I am paying for as in junk? And finally can it be used for a sweater?
Are you on Ravelry? It’s the easiest way to find yarns.
So… it’s a Hobby Lobby branded yarn.
93% wool, 7% nylon

Twice people said it was thinner than listed
One said it was kind of itchy
One said it had thick clumps and a couple knots
Crocee, I haven’t used the ILTY wool, but I have used the acrylics, and I haven’t had any problems. Sorry I haven’t used any of the other.
Good luck.
What wool is that? I see no link, no pic…
From the other comments, I gather it’s a wool called “I love this wool” by Hobby Lobby. I haven’t seen it, used it, or heard of it before, though.
I’ve never tried it either but here’s a link:

given that hoblob is my least favorite place to buy yarn - I hate the quality of their yarn bee brand - it’s so cheaply made!! But, I have discovered that I like their ILTY 100% cotton. It’s very soft and seems to be of good quality, and what a bargain, price-wise! (but like ALL cottons, it does stretch!) I’m halfway through a second summer sweater knit from it.
I have not tried the ILTY wool, only because it has nylon in it, and I’m an anti-synthetics snob. But I would certainly consider it for socks…
Oh, haha…I misunderstood. How tricky is that!!! a yarn called “I love this wool”. Too funny.
I haven’t used it yet, but it looks nice, and it feels softer than Patons Classic Merino.
Here are some things others have made with “I Love This Wool” on Ravelry:

Those knitted items look great, Shandeh. Thanks for sharing.
I think I’m going to rename my handmade soap bars, which I sell at a local fine arts shop: “I Love this Soap”. What do you think? hehe
“I Love That Name!” :roflhard:
I’m gonna make my hubby a birthday cake, and call it “I Love This Cake”.
Thanks everyone. I guess I should buy a skein or 2 just to try it out. If I don’t like it, its not like I have much invested in it.
