Ok…that was it really…I am working on a baby sweater right now, and I hate making button holes! I felt my need for a little comisseration!..

I hate Button Bands!
I am working on the front part of my first sweater and I am sort-of dreading the button hole band and the button band too. They do seem tedious!
I finished my first sweater (just in time for it to be an Xmas gift) for my baby nephew and the button hole band was the WORST part of the whole dang process! It took me hours to figure out what the instructions were telling me. I think I frogged that dang band three times before I got those holes right. Once I figured out what I was doing wrong, I couldn’t believe how easy it really was. Boy was I mad at myself. You’ll get it ladies!!
I feel the same way. I think the best idea I got on the forum is to crochet the button band . You get a neat look and the buttonholes are vertical! I think I can thank Ingrid for this idea. Ellie :sun:
