I got stuff!

Okay, half my stuff. I’m still waiting on the Herrschner’s order to arrive. Let me just tell you all that Knitting Warehouse is the greatest place ever! I placed my order on Tuesday the 21’st… and got my stuff from Fed Ex TODAY! For flat shipping of 5.99 no matter what the total bill, that’s pretty darn good. Also, they have the cheapest prices I have found anywhere! I got all this, without a coupon.

4 skeins Chenille Thick and Quick, 6 skeins of kool wool, 2 skeins of Incredible, 2 skeins of Wool Ease, 1 skein of Magic Stripes sock yarn, and my Boye set for $125.00, and that includes shipping. You guys have GOT to check this place out. I’m glad I could be the guinea pig for all of you, because I have no complaints at all about that place! :inlove: :inlove: :inlove:

ooooooooh dontcha just LOVE a BIG OLD PILE of knitting stuff??? :cheering:

:roflhard: I know… I could just roll around in it!

 yum yum… congrats Aby!!! :cheering: :happydance:

Hmmm…never thought about rolling around in it!

Looks like a great place. Thanks for the tip.

KK loves to roll around in yarn.

Hee Hee! Looks like a little baby Power Puff Girl!
I went on a yarn pilgrimage last Friday whilst in Phoenix visiting Mommie Dearest. Went to two places… Jessica Knits and Bonnie’s. I got my Jordana Page knitter’s purse (covertly so mommie wouldn’t lecture me on my spending ~ I say, “None of your business” when she asks!). I also got some Jo Sharp cotton as a sub for cashmere that is called for in an Erika Knight simple baby sweater pattern. I got some knitter’s hand balm, lovely! Two long Denise cables, 40" and 52". My luxury items were two little skeins of pinkish purplish angora to make some wrist cuffs. This was all from Jessica Knits… she has a nice shop, cozy and comfy/modern. She displayed a lot of yarn in big clear pitchers and tumblers. Great decorating display idea for our stashes right? “Gee honey, I NEED this yarn to bring together the whole ambiance of our home!” :rofling:
Theeeeennnnn, at Bonnies I got two balls of fun bright ribbony “yarn” and three balls of bright colored raggy taggy novely yarns. I can’t remember the names, I have to look at them again. Horrifyingly, I was cruelly seperated from my suitcase on the trip home and had to wait 2 full agonizing days to be reunited with my dirty laundry, Disneyland and gramma gifts for my baby nephew, but most of all… MY YARNS! Thankfully all was ok and the yarns arrived unharmed… oh, and all the other crap was ok too! Whew.
I have never known another craft/obsession to hit me as hard as knitting. I think it’s the idea you can take one long piece of string and make it into something functional or decorative, then rip it apart and start over…
Hi, my name is Jodie and I have a yarn and yarn tools/supplies sickness. I pray to all that is good that there is never a cure for it!
I have decided one of the best sensations in the world is walking into a yarn shop, it’s like crafters Nirvana (insert ghostly angelic voices here…) :roflhard:

:roflhard:

Hildie, that’s too funny. ROFL

:inlove: Wow, Aby, that looks like quite the jackpot!! Congrats!

OK - How is it that no one but me & Amy is laughing hysterically at Hildie’s “artwork”??? I mean…C’MON! My face on an Anne Geddes baby??? It doesnt GET any funnier than that!!! :roflhard:

But but but…i thought that WAS you! Like a mini-mee you!!! I didnt want to hurt your feelings!

LMAO!!! Now we see the REAL Kelly!

:roflhard: hee hee hee! :roflhard:

hahahaahaa LOVE your new avatar, Kelly!

:roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard:

Yesterday a friend at work saw your “old” avatar, Kelly. She said you looked like a friendly person. This one might scare people away! (Why do I think of Michael Jackson when I see this pic?!) :roflhard:

Congrats on scoring a good deal!

I personally have never wanted to roll around in yarn  but when my wife and neighbor went nuts at the garage sale a couple of months ago… they spread out their “stuff” all over the front yard (on blankets) and said the same thing. I’m honestly surprised they didnt actually do it.

By the way Aby, I’ve been meaning to ask this for a while. What the heck does your signature quote mean? I’m having a very severe duh moment and can’t for the life of me figure that one out.

isn’t that a paul mccartney song?

Yep, it’s from the song Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey. You might recognize the chorus that sings “HANDSSSSS across the water… water… HANDSSS across the skyyyyy” :happydance:
