I’m a beginner, teaching myself and just realized that I’m using a garter stitch instead of a stockinette stitch like the pattern calls for. Will the finished product be the same size? Thanks so much!! Sara:aww:
Nope. Garter stitch rows are shorter than stockinette rows, and the pattern will look different. But it may not matter depending on your pattern. What are you making?
Your piece will be wider and shorter than you want it to be. But it won’t curl. How bad that is depends on what you’re making.
