I finished it! (Hooded baby blanket)

I just finished my first large project, a baby blanket for my girlfriend who is due in may. I haven’t blocked it yet, because I don’t have an iron here, but I wanted to take pictures.

:cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

Looks great! She’ll appreciate it! :happydance:

Adorable! congratulations… looks sooo snuggly

Lovely!

Ohh that is too adorable

How cute! :cheering:

Great job! I’m sure she’ll appreciate it!

Very cute!!

Aw, that is adorable! :inlove: I think the bear needs one of his own–he looks very cozy!

His name is Oif, because that’s what his shirt said when I got him in a box from DF while he was in Iraq (O.I.F. stands for Operation Iraqi Freedom) And if he wants his own blanket, he’ll have to knit it himself, because I have quite a few other projects to be getting on with, including the same blanket for another girlfriend who’s due in July, (just in different colors), The Waterlily tank from Interweave Knits magazine that I want to start a KAL for, and the teenie preemie hats for the CKal and my first pair of socks.

So yeah, Oif has to wait. Thanks though.

Knit it himself! :roflhard: :roflhard:

If that happens, I want to see his handiwork

so cute! i love it!
