Cast on 9 stitches
Row 1. K8, wrap yarn around next stitch and turn,
Row 2. Knit 8
Row 3. K6, wrap yarn around next stitch and turn,
Row 4. Knit 6
Row 5. Knit 4, wrap yarn around next stitch and turn,
Row 6. Knit 4
Row 7. Knit 2, wrap yarn around next stitch and turn,
Row 8. Knit 2
Row 9. Knit 4, wrap yarn around next stitch and turn,
Row 10. Knit 4
Row 11. K6, wrap yarn around next stitch and turn,
Row 12. Knit 6
Repeat last 12 rows to form wing shape (6 or 7 times as desired to form the wing shape )
To finish work, repeat Row1 and row 2 once.
Cast off all 8 stitches knitwise.
