I discovered a new yarn store

I just found a new(April 06) yarn store in Ft Worth,TEXAS.Its called Yarnseweunique. I am going to a stitching retreat in 2 weeks , so I plan to head there first…I cant wait to see it… :teehee: Sissy

ah, you gotta love new yarn store discoveries! I have one here in Mpls called Crafty Planet, it’s on the map site where everyone posted lys. While browsing here (at work… no work got done…) I also found knitting-warehouse.com
they have a flat rate shipping of $6, and everything seems to be about 10-20% cheaper than anywhere else— and I’ve been digging! :hiding:
has anyone else found CHEAP yarn websites???

Lots of inexpensive great yarns sites…a search will probably turn up more but off the top of my head

divaknitting.com (of course, I am quite fond of this one  )
elann.com
knitpicks.com
yarn.com
woolneedlework.com

I’m sure you’ll get lots of other suggestions!

Ditto what kemp said. Then there’s my friend Angelika’s Yarn Store and KPixie and TheKnitter.
Almost forgot, my fave ebay Store.

I’m a fan of Hawthorne Yarn. I’m not affiliated; I just love her yarn. She’s a sweet person and she has some gorgeous stuff.

Crafty Planet in Minneapolis - okay! A new place for me to shop??? Have you seen “All About Yarn”, its in Coon Rapids. They have a super nice variety of wool.

janie-Crafty Planet is right on the corner of Lowry and Johnson in NE Mpls. It’s not very big or anything, but they have a nice variety of crafty stuff, yarn, fabric, needles, kids stuff, etc. It’s where I buy my books from because the woman that runs it I think has used all the books she sells so helps me pick them out. I haven’t branched out to any other yarn stores yet, didn’t even know there were any around here!

Hey Sissy,

I meet a woman at Yarntopia in Hoston a couple of weekends ago and she said the store you mentioned was “the” store in the DFW area. I can’t wait to go, but it might be spring before that happens.
