Fabulous!!! :cheering: Makes me want to try knitting socks again (I admit it-I have a love-hate relationship with socks–I love to knit them but they seem to hate me–ALWAYS turn out too big!!)
Hi Dotty
Those socks are just fab. I have just got back fron holidays and did NO knitting
for a whole week!!! Can you beleive that? I am raring to go now and those socks might just be what I need to get me going again.
Ohhhhhhhh I love these socks…:flirt: this makes me want to knit socks but I have never knitted any …do you think a total sock beginner could knit those??
I also love the yarn, what is the name of the yarn…such a beautiful colour…these would make such a great gift! :teehee:
It just takes concentration…and I’m thinking there’s an error on row 5 or 6. I’ve done 2 repeats and each time I am 1 stitch short on row 6.
You might try a plain sock first. I did my first sock with the help of Silver’s sock tutorial. The link has a link to it. It’s great because it’s full or large screenshots so you KNOW if you are doing it correctly.
Then, my 2nd socks was lacey and eaaaaaasy - after a while I didn’t even need to look at the pattern. I can tell this latest one is going to take pattern looking all the way through.
Give it a try! Whichever one you go with first…socks are addicting!!!
Not if I steal them first! Those are GORGEOUS! Make me, almost, want to consider attempting socks. They are beautiful. Thanks for sharing the pattern as well.
