Ive searched and about to just go with my gut.
Ive made miles of i cord out of stash yarn (acryllic)and now ready to sew it together.
But i can’t find anyone who is willing to tell me how to do that.
I did a search for icord rug and all i find is pictures about them.
Is this just a simple whip stitch or is there more to it? Will that make it sturdy enough? (for a boys room)
What do i use? Yarn or thread?

You might try doing a search for things about how to construct a braided rug, that would be the same idea. My daughter got into making those for a while. You could probably sew them the same way the braided rugs are sewn.
Now, I haven’t done this, but knowing the nature of I-cord I think just whip stitching it would be fine. I’m not sure of the best material for this, but yarn is my first thought. :think: It would create a decorative spiral of stitches on it’s own and be kind of cool.
