I-Cord question

I know how to make an I Cord and I think its easy. BUT I need to make an I cord and attach it to some stitches at the same time. I am stumped as to how to do this. I made this sweet sweater and it came out perfect…but now I need to attach an I cord all around the outside of it and I am at a loss as to how to do this.

I don’t see how I can shift the stitches from end to end of a double pointed needle while I still have the sweater there in the way attached to the needle.:??

Can anyone help me with this?? Thanks so much:shrug:

I looked at what Amy had to say about I Cords here and I was able to “visualize” it and I got it!! Thanks anyway.:muah:

See if these links help. It seems to be called “i-cord bind off” or “attached i-cord”.
