Dont know if this has been said before probably has. I found a beautiful pattern i would love to knit for myself when i have finished my husbands cardigan. Its the kepler sweater on ravelry. I have been reading down through the pattern and discovered i need to do I-cord for the collar. Problem is i dont have dpn’s nor the money to buy any these days. But i think i have had a brainwave to be able to use ordinary needles i think.
I was thinking after you cast on the required amount of stitches and knit one row. Where is says not turn the work and slip the work to other end of needle, i would simply slip the stiches onto left needle again when using ordinary needles.
Does anyone think this would work and have ever done it?
