Decrease row - K30, K2tog, sLIK, K1, psso, K55 , K2tog, sLI K, K1 , psso, K30 (119 sts).
You would work the above for the first dec row. Then the numbers will change for the next dec row to:
K29, K2tog, sLIK, K1, psso, K53 , K2tog, sLI K, K1 , psso, K29 (115 sts).
If you call the first dec row (the one starting k30) row 1, then you will dec on rows 5 and then 7,9 and 11.
You’re not being a pain, that’s what this Forum is all about!
And for future reference–at the far right of the Forum main page is a button that says “New Topic”. That’s how you start a new thread. But what you did is just fine, too.
Knitting the Pelica vest im alittle confused re buttonholes. I’m knitting size 7 completed arm hole increases it then says size 6 a 8 not sizes does that mean it’s just size 6 and 8 or is it inclusive ie 6,7 and 8 don’t want to miss a buttonhole.
Check the directions under the sizes 6-8 and see if there are 3 numbers given for the various directions. That would mean that they are for sizes 6,7 and 8 rather than only 6 and 8. (If the directions are indeed for 6 and 8 there should be directions for size 7 listed somewhere.)
If it’s the first buttonhole the placement should be close to the transition from the V-neck shaping to a straight edge for the front. If it’s a later buttonhole, count rows between buttonholes to make sure you have the correct spacing.
