Hi! I’m knitting the tinybird longies, and am nearly done the first piece. The pattern says to make another. But my brain is telling me that it might need the shaping reversed. And now I’ve confused myself totally and can’t figure it out! The pieces of the pants are shaped like pj pants I’ve sewn before, and shorts etc. And I’m sure that I cut them opposite. I sure hope someone can help me with this! Before my brain explodes… samm
I looked at the pattern, and it seems that the two sides are the same. I guess baby shapes are more symmetrical than adult shapes.
Thanks, Ingrid. I was knitting the leg of the first half in the car and trying to see if the shaping is the same both sides. Kinda hard with the bumping along… and the stst rolling and all. I think I will just do as the pattern said and make another the same. If it isn’t okay I’ll end up with two pair! Maybe it will come clear when I’m putting them together. I hope! Thanks again,
