I am Stumped!

This is from a Bernat pattern for a long sweater. You knit for 4 inches for the bottom, and then you go to ST stitch. There are 46 stitches on the needle. This is where I am stumped: Next Row:[Knit 11 (13-14). Inc 1 st in next st] twice. K11(12-14). TURN. Slip last 6 sts on a st holder. 38(42-46). I am doing the middle size, so I nned to K13, Inc 1 ST twice in the next st., and then K12?? What about the other sts I have left on the middle?? Where do I get the 6 sts from to put on the st holder?? Please help.
Thank You!!
Lori

46 = 13+13+12+6? Yes
SO:
K13, Inc1, K13, Inc 1, K12, Slip last stitches on holder

ok?

You make it look so easy!!! I will be glad when pattern reading is not such a struggle for me. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

No problem
Sometimes the way it is written does not make sense to me
it is not the writers fault I M sure
so I do the math
that helps me understand it

And the inc should be a KFB; that’s what they mean by inc in next st. If you use a m1 after the k13, it will throw off the st numbers later on.
