I am not sure what a running thread is

Hi All:

I’ve knitted a few dischcloths thus far and for my next project I am hoping to knit a tiny coaster. I found a pattern, but one of the the final instructions confused me: it states “draw a running thread through the stitches of the inside circle to tighten up the center circle”.

Do you know what a running thread is?

welcome! basically you are just taking a yarn thread through those center stitches to tighten up those middle stitches and make that center hole as small as possible. :thumbsup:

You know the funny thing is. When I finished the coaster, I kinda liked the hole.
